A beautiful family-owned nature resort on the banks of the Vaal river Westvaal holiday resort is a favourite fishing spot and bird lover's paradise, just below the Barrage on the Vaal River. Our camp sitesare spacious, and ample shade is provided by indigenous trees. All sites are within reach of electricity points, water, and braais. Full ablution facilities are available in both our A-camp, as well as our B-camp.
Set in an area of excellent bird life, the ideal break-away weekend venue or stopover on business trips, to enjoy superb birding, fishing or simple relaxation.
A marvelous 680 metres riverfront, with fish species - Carp, Yellow fish, mud fish, Bass & Catfish that are plentiful. A working farm atmosphere lends Westvaal Holiday resort a restful air and provides an opportunity for a relaxing escape, with the call of the fish eagle in the background
